The Emblem of the Bharat Scouts and Guides is the Fleur-de-lis superimposed by the Trefoil with the Ashok Chakra in the Centre of the Trefoil. The ratio of the length and breadth of the Emblem shall be 3:2. (1) Other Emblems Fleur-de-lis symbolises Scout Wing. Trefoil Symbolises Guide Wing. Ashok Chakra Symbolises India. Horizontal Band SymbolisesWorld Brotherhood Besides the Emblem of the Bharat Scouts and Guides the other Emblems which may be adopted are: (i) National Emblem (ii) State Emblem (i) District Emblem (ii) Local Association Emblem (iii) Group Emblem |

(2) The National and State Emblems shall be approved by National Executive Committee. (3) The District Emblem, the Local Association Emblem and the Group Emblem shall be approved by the State Executive Committee. (4) The application for approval of the State Emblem shall be made to the National Executive Committee with a specimen design of the Emblem. The application for the District Emblem shall be made to the State Executive Committee with the specimen design of the Emblem. The Local Association Emblem or Group Emblem shall be submitted to the State Executive Committee together with the specimen design of the Emblem through proper channel. |
(5) The Emblem may be issued to mark special occasion or event such as Jamboree. Camporee, Seminar, Conference and Rally. Such Emblem shall be used during the event and for a period of one year after the event. (6) The size of the Emblem shall not exceed 5cms. in length or breadth or diameter. The Emblem shall be emblematic in character and shall not contain the name or initials of any person. (7) The Emblem shall be worn in such manner or on such occasion as may be directed. |

The World Badge (1) (a) The World Scout Badge shall be of such design and colour as decided by the World Scout Bureau. (b)The World Scout Badge is a cloth badge or a metal badge. (c) The cloth World Scout Badge, when worn shall be worn on the uniform in the centre of the pleast of the right pocket and the metal badge may be worn in multi. (d) Every enrolled member is eligible to wear the World Scout Badge |

The World Badge (2) (a) The World Guide Badge shall be of such design and colour as decided by the World Bureau of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. (b) The World Guide Badge is a cloth or a mental badge blue in colour with a golden Trefoil at the centre. (c) The World Guide Badge when worn, shall be worn in the middle of the right Sleeve. (d) Every enrolled member is eligible to wear the World Guide Badge. |
The National Flag : The National flag is a tricolour rectangular panel, made up of there rectangular panels of equal width, the colour of the top panel is saffron (Kesari) and of the bottom panel is green, the middle panel is white, having in the centre the design of the Ashoka Chakra in navy blue. The Chakra shall be screen printing or otherwise printed on both sides of the Flag of stenciled or suitably embroidered on both side in all cases. Saffron colour denotes renunciation and sacrifice; the white in the centre denotes purity, the path of truth to guide our conduct; the green shows prosperity; Ashoka Chakra in the centre of the panel is the wheel of the law of Dharma; it denotes progress.
The World Scout Flag: The World Scout Flag consists of the World Scout Badge in white encircled by a white cord, the ends of which are tied with a reef knot, set on purple background; the size of the flag will be in the ratio of 3:2.
The World Guide Flag : The World Guide Flag consists of the Golden World Trefoil on the left upper corner on a bright blue field. The three leaves represent the three fold Promise as originally laid down by the Founder. The flame represents flame of the love for humanity. The vein pointing upwards represents the compass needle pointing the way. The two stars represent the Promise and Law. The outer circle represents our world wide association. The golden yellow Trefoil on a bright blue background represent the Sun shining over the children of the world. A blaze of white on the lower right hand corner represents peace that Girl Guides and Girl Scouts of the world over are striving to achieve. The white blaze is crowned by three golden squares symbolic of threefold Guide Promise. The size of the flag will be in the ratio 3:2.
The Bharat Scouts and Guides Flag: The Bharat Scouts and Guides flag shall be in dark blue colour, the Emblem in yellow colour shall be in the centre of the Flag with Ashoka Chakra in blue colour; the size of the flag shall be 180 cm. in length and 120 cm.s. in width; the Emblem shall be 45cms x 30 cms.
Group Flag : The Group Flag which is the same as above shall be 120 cms x 80 cms. The Emblem shall be 30 cm x 20 cms; the name of the Group shall be written in yellow colour below the emblem in straight line and the name of the state shall be written in yellow below the name of the group.
The Scouts and Guides may use the National Flag. The Bharat Scouts and Guides flag, the World Scout flag, the World Guide Flag. The Group flag and the Patrol flag.
The National flag shall be used on such occasion and in such manner as are in accordance with the rules made by the Government.
The World Scout or the World Guide flag may be used on appropriate occasions and when used they shall flag at lower level then the National flag at its left and at higher level then the Bharat Scouts and Guides flag at its right. When the National flag and the Bharat Scouts and Guides flag are flown simultaneously, the Bharat Scouts and Guides flag shall fly at lower level than the National flag at its left. When the Group flag is flown it shall be flown separately by the Group.
The Patrol flag shall be triangular in shape white in colour with Patrol Emblem in red colour, the length of the base shall be 20 cms. and the length of the two sides shall be 30 cms. each. It may be carried by the Patrol Leader.
The flag must be treated with reverence at all times.
The flag pole shall be sloped over the right shoulder and the flag gathered in March Past shall be held vertically and the fly end must be held with the right hand. The flag must fly freely at the saluting base.
The Bharat Scouts and Guides flag shall be dipped to the President of the Indian Republic; it shall be dipped when the National Anthem is played except when the President of the Indian Republic is present. The Bharat Scouts and Guides Flag or the Group Flag may be dipped to the President or the Chief National Commissioner of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
